All Things Alpaca, LLC is proud to work The Epilepsy
Center of Northwest Ohio in Maumee, Ohio, by providing work opportunities
and skill development for adults with epilepsy. The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio has been
serving the community since 1977. The Center is a resource for education
and awareness about epilepsy and other seizure disorders. The Epilepsy
Center also serves adults with developmental disabilities. There
is an on-site Adult Day Services facility for individuals who enjoy
both social and educational activities. The Center is equipped with
activity equipment such as air hockey, Wii, basketball hoop, a computer
lab, and a crafts room. The Center also provides vocational training
and non-medical transportation. Since 2011, The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio's Supported Employment Program in partnership with All Things Alpaca, LLC has provided skill enhancement and wages to clients who create the Alpaca Fleece-filled Bird Nesting Ball®.
